I am more than a little bit happy about my beloved Guy Garvey (and his band) winning the Mercury Prize J
And we didn’t get sucked into a black hole! (At first, I was a bit pissed off about this – what an anticlimax! And it also means I really do have to finish my dissertation now… Also, Chris informs me that they’re not actually going to find anything out for ages. Rubbish.)

Ha, they were talking about that on the radio this morning. My first thought was that that is quite cool and unexpected and my second was, should I email Rob and Jenn and ask them when they would blog about it. 🙂
(I might be way off but the man who comes on at 7 on 6music, in-my-head he sounds like Guy. I have no evidence of this but have managed to convince myself he does.)
We might have taken a day to blog about it but there were text messages sent when it was announced 🙂

I probably won’t be blogging about Elbow/Mercury, as I have a *huge* list of things waiting to be blogged about, but currently nuclear physics keep distracting me…
